Why does there charge by document instead of per user?
Because the document is the output produced with there, such as a site report, inspection report or meeting minutes. The number of people needed to prepare, approve, receive or comment on it should not increase its price. Every plan, including Free, therefore includes unlimited members, guests and recipients. The subscription only varies according to the organization’s monthly volume of documents created and the features it needs.
What counts as one document?
One unit is used as soon as a new document is created, even if it remains a draft. This includes a blank document or one created from a template, a Word import, a duplicate, and a follow-up document. Later edits, shares, signatures, locks, and PDF exports do not count it again. Moving a document to Trash immediately restores one unit only if that document was counted against the current monthly allowance. Deleting a document counted in a previous billing cycle does not change the current allowance. You can restore it only if enough allowance is available. After 30 days in Trash, the document is permanently deleted.
What is unlimited and does not use a document?
Text, photo, and voice notes, transcriptions, and AI enhancements are unlimited and do not use any documents. You can capture every meeting and site visit before deciding which ones should become a document. Free and Pro use the AI model selected by there; Team and above let you choose the model. This does not add a separate AI credit allowance.
Are users really unlimited, including on Free?
Yes. Every plan, including Free, lets you add as many members, guests and recipients as you need, with no additional licenses. Adding people does not change the subscription price. The document allowance is shared across the organization, and only creating a new document uses one unit. If more members create documents, the shared allowance may therefore be reached sooner.
How do I choose the right plan for my organization?
Start with your monthly document volume: Free includes 5, Pro 15, Team 100 and Business 250. The number of users does not affect this choice, because members, guests and recipients are unlimited on every plan. The number of sites shown is an estimate, not a technical limit. Features also matter: Pro adds PDF export, Team adds templates and AI model choice, and Business adds team folders, governed external co-authoring, connectors and advanced administration features.
When does the allowance reset, and do unused documents roll over?
The allowance resets each month on the anniversary date of the original subscription. For example, if it starts on the 12th, a new allowance becomes available on the 12th of every month. Unused documents do not roll over. With an annual subscription, you pay for twelve months upfront, but the document allowance still resets monthly.
What happens when the document allowance is reached?
An indicator appears in the navigation once you reach 80% usage. At 100%, you can no longer create a new document, but you can still view, edit, share, and sign existing documents and continue using notes, photos, recordings, transcriptions, and AI. To create again, wait for the monthly reset or upgrade your plan. There are no automatic overage charges.
How do the first 14 days of Team access work?
Every new organization automatically starts with all Team features for 14 days, with no credit card or activation required. If you do not choose a paid plan, it then moves automatically to Free with no time limit, 5 new documents per month and unlimited users. You are not charged automatically. Your documents and notes remain accessible and editable; paid features, including document PDF export, become unavailable until you subscribe.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
The features and monthly document allowance are identical. With annual billing, you pay for twelve months upfront: Pro costs $540 per year, equivalent to $45 per month; Team costs $1,620 per year, equivalent to $135 per month; and Business costs $3,228 per year, equivalent to $269 per month. With monthly billing, Pro costs $59 per month, Team $169 per month, and Business $339 per month. In both cases, the document allowance resets every month on the subscription anniversary date. An annual subscription does not grant the whole year’s document allowance upfront. Prices exclude applicable taxes.
Can I change plans or cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately, and the difference is charged on a prorated basis for the rest of the billing period. Documents already used during the current billing cycle count toward the new allowance: if you have used 12 documents on Pro, upgrading to Team leaves 88 documents available to create. A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Your documents and notes remain accessible and editable, except for content left in Business team folders: move it before downgrading, as those folders become inaccessible afterward. The limits and features of the new plan apply in the next period. Payments already made are non-refundable.
Do prices include tax, and which payment methods do you accept?
No. Prices are shown excluding tax; applicable taxes are calculated from your billing details. Self-service paid plans can be purchased by card. Bank transfer is available for Business and Enterprise: contact hello@there.do to arrange it.
Do you offer special pricing for startups or education?
Yes. A company created less than two years ago may qualify for 50% off an annual plan for one year, after providing proof of incorporation. Education projects are reviewed case by case. Email hello@there.do with details about your organization and intended use.
